I believe Hell is eternal separation from God.
Can you imagine entering eternity, knowing there is a place of infinite joy and contentment, where all pain, sorrow and discontent are forever gone. And then realizing you can never go there.

Which one of the thousands of religions are they praying to?
Is it the one that turned Lots wife into a pillar of salt?
You know before he offered his virgin daughters to the angry mob outside his house .
Or is it the one that tells the story where God totally punked that father and almost made him kill his own son just to say jk bro. That was a great one.
I really like those cool stories cause they make sense and it's easy to read .
Is that who they are praying to? Is he gonna answer their prayer? Let me know . I hope this shows up on the news we need more religious stories on there, damn liberals.

Those who seek definitive proof will never have it, doubt is a nessecary component of faith.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be that convenient. I hear I will have to take a connection to somewhere in the eastern part of the world where the main hub to hell was built to make it easier to transport the billions of brown people headed there.
So it’s kind of like how we southerners often have to fly to Atlanta before going where we’re really going.

I'll dive back in for one comment. YOU'D better be right. Deep down, you're aware that there is almost no chance that the god of the bible exists. Personally, I have zero doubt it's fictional. I'm not risking any more by not believing in him than I'm risking in not being Muslim, or not believing in Apollo.
I get this one life on earth. And I try to live it to it's fullest, enjoy each day, and not harm others. If you're wrong about god (and I'm certain you are, just as you suspect you are, deep down) you've wasted a whole lot of your life "believing" in nonsense, and presumably sitting on a church pew. You probably waste a lot of time worrying about things that just don't concern me, like what gay people do, premarital sex, eating shellfish (j/k), etc. Most christians seem angry and fearful about what the world "has become" (it's become more tolerant of differences). I don't have that anger or fear. As long as you're not hurting anyone, I couldn't care less what anyone does. I don't need to save anyone, or hide anyone from my children.
So, what I'm getting at is, you KNOW you get this life. I'd be very careful about how I spent it and not count on having a backup of eternal bliss in a fantasy land that was dreamed up by illiterate goat herders in a middle eastern desert two thousand years ago.

I believe in God and I’m technically Catholic (as in I grew up one, don’t hate it and still attend on occasion, support the church/school I attended both monetarily and with some volunteer hours). I don’t believe every word of the Bible, I have no problem with gays, etc. But I do choose to believe in heaven, maybe partly because I’ve lost some people really close to me and I need to believe their lives were more than what they had on this earth. Ridicule me if you like, it won’t change me, nor will I change you or even try to but maybe we need to stop painting with such broad brushes when we discuss folks with a differing opinion/belief system.
