That’s why the REC makes the Illuminati look like rookies. To be able to time the perfect no-call or call at the absolute optimal moment while simultaneously getting Alabama hammered with penalties during non-critical moments is the stuff of genius.

How about pull your own stats to prove your retarded conspiracy. I wont pull them for you but can tell you that some of Bama’s biggest games the last two seasons (Texas 2022 and 2023, Texas A&M 2023, Tennessee 2022) Alabama was far more heavily penalized.

Lies
Damned lies
Statistics
Just as meaningless as LSU's road record against Bama for last 40 years (sorry Pimp).
It's not just the penalties that are called (and, in the case if Bama, not called [holding by OL]), it's is when/situation.
Fortuitous/impeccably timed penalties to help Bama or stall the momentum of their opponents is commonplace and only the homeliest of Bama homers deny it. What is truly infuriating is that they get the same favoritism in away games.
It is so hilarious when Bama is in a game officiated by non-SEC officials and all of a sudden they're getting called for holding. Same thing when their stud Olinemen go to the NFL and are flagged regularly.
Rules aren't different. Technique is the same. What has changed?
There is no question that Bama under Saban has been a powerhouse dynasty. He is a great coach and they have had great teams. But to deny the officials aren't putting their thumb on the scale at crucial times is delusion.

Alabama is consistently one of the most penalized teams in the country and our opponents are consistently among the least penalized. Sorry to introduce facts to all of your feelings.
That’s right. They call cheap penalties on Bama to mask the cheating on game deciding penalties. It’s obvious to anyone that’s not biased (Gumps). Been that way since I can remember. If game is close in 4th quarter, you will see it if you just open your eyes. Move sec hq away from Alabama. Only solution. Move it to Louisiana and maybe they will cheat for us once!!

Thank goodness we have completely neutral, non-biased LSU fans here to set the record straight. LSU fans clearly only care about their team and pay no attention to Alabama.

Now do timely obvious drive killing or extending in favor of Bama from last night. The made up fair catch call began the Vols second half, taking away 2 1st downs and trying to take a 3rd. The phantom PI that extended a drive, the disconcerting sound BS for a 1st down.
It was a bit much even for the Bama refs.

So if this conspiracy is so obvious, surely you could find consistent data across dozens of games over the last 15 years showing that Bama is penalized far more and their opponents far less in games with non-SEC officials vs those with SEC officials who have so obviously been paid off, threatened, or whatever means you think Alabama uses to perpetuate this scheme..

I can somewhat sympathize with last night's disparity. Bama has typically played undisciplined football with a lot of penalties and for whatever reason they either finally got it together or the penalties finally swung in their favor. I'm not arguing that Tennessee didn't get a lot of tough breaks yesterday. But it is a very small sample size compared to the facts showing there is no vast conspiracy stretching over hundreds of games. Tennessee is also one of the most heavily penalized teams this year.

Bama was beating teams in the first Qtr most years so those games didn’t matter. They were just way better. But the close games, yea, Bama usually gets the calls.

god we have been hosed all these years. we would have 10 titles

Auburn is ironically one of the least penalized teams in the country over the past 5 years.

Hyperbole is the Rant’s favorite drug. Alabama has had plenty of favorable calls over the years, they’ve had plenty go against them.
I’d like to see fewer penalties period, even if it equates to lower scoring games.
The most egregious call yesterday was the defensive holding on the TN corner on the out route. That’s not an AL thing, it’s a SEC official issue. Don’t involve yourself in the game for that type of play. Too many of those in key moments of games in general. Let the kids play.

Sure, the refs know they have to penalize Alabama at a “similar” rate. The affects of the penalties are what is glaringly different. Game changing vs minor annoyances.

2016 vs Clemson. National champ game. Clemson ran 99 plays. Against arguably the greatest Alabama pass rush in their history. Clemson committed ZERO penalties

At least they didn't call a penalty on Burton for those OBVIOUS FAKE KICKS to the DB.
