Yes they missed...according to ESPN, this is evidence of racism. Therefore, if Alabama and other teams coached by black coaches had made it further, ncaa basketball would have been proven less racist. Brilliant.

I'll tell you what an embarrassment is: getting your arse beat and beat and beat so much by Bama in the primary sport (the one that draws 100,000 to see you play State) that your AD panics. And goes straight whore dog and hires an idiot who not only begins making it rain but goes all street running his mouth about it. Trying to impress a bro. I would think other fans would hope they make it...it would justify possibly keeping Avery.
I would think the fear of Alabama going to get a good coach would make you want Alabama to keep Avery.
With Alabama about to drop $115 million on basketball facilities I think it would be easier to convince a good coach.
