Bottomline is Bama isn't on some other level program wise. You're just not. A missed fg by OSU let you squirm into the game last year. Bama was t the best team in the sec last year

If you look at history, LSU just does not stack up as one of the few elite programs.
If you discount history then all that matters is the most recent event. LSU again just did not have the balls to step up when it counted the most.
If you want to choose some abitrary historical time frame as it applies to kids being recruited, the only option that would make sense is the last 4 years. The last 4 years accounts for the entire career of the 5th year seniors that will still be on the team this fall. It also accounts for the time span in which the players being recruited actually began to understand college football and how they might best fit into it. The last 4 years, LSU does not stack up.
Yes, LSU CAN offer what Alabama DOES offer they just do not seem to have the chest as a program to do so in any of those three comparisons.
Maybe you would have better luck comparing something like hard assets. You know football facilities and shite...Damn, LSU could but still doesn't compare favorably there either. Someone down there in BR needs to get serious about their program.
