Bama had a fricking incredible team.

Exactly. Dumbasses on the rant saying,"I'll never forgive Les for that".
Bama only had the best defense in modern football history.

I used to sell those type rings when I was in the jewelry business and the manufacturer "buys down" the final cost. Champ rings are not a big part of their overall business plan so it's good for promotion and advertising to say they made 'em. The price they get charge isn't retail or wholesale, but below their actual cost. That being said, SOMEBODY is pitching in $$$ to get the invoice price down to $300-$400 (if that's what happened). Even with the manufacturer's buy down the cost is WAY over that price.

Channel setting most of the stones is an excellent choice over bead set. Looks great and will wear really well. Those are fine rings; excellent job.

On a similar note, who broke the trophy? Pics of a piece online but no mention of who knocked it off the base.

Interesting.

I am pretty sure it was one of our players' dads. Not sure which one, though.

How have you been? I don't get online much during the season so I've lost track.

GREAT ! Glad to hear.

Life is good; I FINALLY have a grandson, my first grandbaby. He happens to be the absolute best looking, smartest, greatest person in the whole world. I had all but given up on becoming a Grandfather so I'm really grateful for the blessing.

Spending time getting ready for next year....working out some and hitting the rule book a bit every day. Since I'm old the info leaks out of my head so I have to keep pouring it back in.
Hardcore prep in a couple of months.

Congratulations on your new blessing
