How many national championships in the football, men’s basketball, and baseball has each state produced? Alabama and Auburn combined have won over 20 national championships in football.

Surely if you count all three sports other states would have an advantage.

This is either an adult giving a cry for help or an angsty teen living vicariously through achievements they barely remember.

Check my math OP. D-1 national championships by southeastern state:

Alabama (Alabama and Auburn): 21
Arkansas (Arkansas): 2
Florida (Florida, Miami, FSU): 19
Georgia (Georgia and GT): 9
Kentucky (Kentucky and Louisville): 12
Louisiana (LSU, Tulane, Louisiana, LA Tech: 12
Mississippi (Ole Miss, MSU, Southern Miss): 5
South Carolina (USCe, Coastal Carolina, Clemson): 6
Tennessee (UT, Vandy, Memphis, MTSU): 9

Are you implying Kim and the girls' NC is meaningless?

Does winning a regular season title in baseball mean anything? Even if we ignore the fact that baseball is way less popular than FB or BB, it doesn't seem like a sport where the regular season means that much. Hoover - yeah, sure. Omaha - absolutely. But going 17-13 and winning a three team tie breaker because you had an easier schedule or something. Who cares?

And for bama, it's more about bashing teams that don't win at "insert sport"... while they tell you they aren't a fan of that sport.

As much as so many on the rant don't care about so many sports, it's a wonder why some of these schools have an athletics department.

It's still a major sport (and makes more money than baseball even at LSU) no matter how mad y'all get.

I don't care if it matters to some of you.

I heard that Bear Bryant only wore his "outfit" at night and for special events.

Looks like you DO care.
Weird how y'all were packing the PMAC during the Will Wade years.

The University of Alabama has more “big 3” national championships than any other southeastern state except Florida - FSU, Florida and Miami combined have one more than Alabama.

I just learned Coastal Carolina is in South Carolina. I always thought they were in North Carolina. I will update.

Bama is the only SEC school I'd trade UF's history for. Although I'd like to keep at least one of our basketball titles.
