It might not be the most intimidating place to play a football game but it sure as hell is hard to come out of there with a W if you are the opposing team.

Record would be more like 80-20 with impartial refs

Incredibly impressive. I also attended 3 of those losses. Maybe I should go to more Bammer games

Off the top of my head...
Auburn Iron Bowl 2010 after getting down big
A&M with Johnny 2012
Ole Miss 2014?
LSU 2019
Not sure the fifth.

It certainly is now. There isn’t a better big game environment in sports.

Ah yes, sippy last year. That you can count them on one hand in 18 seasons is nuts.

2 teams that won a national title w/ a Heisman winner

Forgot about 2011 LSU...maybe it's six losses then, or OP was only referring to conference games.

4 of the teams won their conference (3 of them being the SEC).
If you watch a YouTube of the Ole Miss game, you'll see why it was an outlier. Alabama had a lot of uncharacteristic bad turnovers - for a Saban team - and Ole Miss got every good bounce that they could have gotten in that game to boot. Ole Miss was a very good football team in 2015 but that game sorta is in the same bucket as 2010 South Carolina for me. Probably a Freeze type 9 out of 10 situation
