Zakoby McLain had better numbers and a bigger impact despite having less talent. Same for KJ Britt

Do you agree with jangalang that Pappoe was meh?

nossir...
I belive he was a far better than average or "meh" player....

although I will say Jang is a knowledgeable fan who speaks his mind with no concern for what other "Aubies" might think, approve, etc... if he says that Pappoe was "meh" he truly believes it.. some fans feel Pappoe never reached his full potential at Auburn & an argument could be made for such.. not reaching full potential would fail on the coaching, not just the player imho.

side note - I'm pretty sure Frank Thomas was at the ballpark a couple days ago for opening weekend.. i can assure you Auburn loves & supports the vast majority of former players and the feeling is reciprocated by said players.

Britt was a thumper and will continue playing in the NFL.

Yes. He was another linebacker that had a bigger impact despite being much lowly ranked than Pappoe.

Pappoe never measured up to his talent to call himself the freak.

To clarify, you’re comparing PFF grades between two guys who played two completely different positions?

I am pretty sure you are retarded.

Robinson coached Pappoe ONE YEAR and not even his best year. Credit for that goes to Arkansas’s DC.

But keep trying to polish this turd. Baylor’s LBs this past year were beyond awful. He also has not signed a recruit since his UF days and he was pretty average there.

The last two coaches to hire him were on the hottest of hot seats and couldn’t get anyone else.

He had coached under Freeze before and even Freeze told him to hit the road when he came in and definitely upgraded the coaching at that position.

DeBoer obviously wanted Inge, just like he wanted Grubb and Huff but all three lasted a hot minute in Tuscaloosa before leaving for other jobs. At least Harsin’s potato posse stuck with him.

Oh I can't wait either.

How much of the "well we didn't mean they wouldn't win but just that they wouldn't win 3 NC's in a row, pawwww" will we also hear next season when Bama beats your teams? We won't win them all but there's a lot of talk from everybody

Constantly reiterating your own dysfunction and seemingly not even realizing it is really a sight to behold.

Also, it appears to me that you’re telling me Pappoe had his best season (by a significant margin) under Robinson.

Is that correct?

Harsin was a top 3 coach in win percentage when Auburn hired him. On paper he looked good.

Fitwise, he was a disaster. Never understood the SEC or recruiting in this league.

Kinda like your coach.

So who is more dysfunctional, the school that took the risk on Harsin and this staff or the school who hires that coach’s failed retreads?

I would assume it's the program that just paid $37 million to Gus Malzahn and Bryan Harsin?

Kalen DeBoer hasn't coached a football game at Alabama.

Auburn's repeated mistakes are known commodities however, so your question doesn't even make sense.

You do realize 69.5 is considered mediocre or meh right? So in his 4th season as a five star (when the good ones leave in 3) you think C-Rob is the answer for his success. Not true. Even Dylan Moses had a decent senior season. I am guessing to you that means Dylan lived up to his billing now.
