You do understand that y'all actually hired Bryan Harsin, right?

Constantly reiterating your own dysfunction and seemingly not even realizing it is really a sight to behold.

Even Ray Charles sees Husky Harsin in the offseason so far

I would assume it's the program that just paid $37 million to Gus Malzahn and Bryan Harsin?

It's wild that Auburn paid nearly $22 million extra just to fire Gus and hire Harsin. Then two years later they fire THAT guy and owe him an extra $15 million for dumping him early. Then Auburn goes and hires a formerly disgraced SEC coach to lead their program.

And this is the fanbase passing judgment on the DeBoer hire? Maybe sit this one out, barners.

To be fair nobody gives a shite about your opinion either.

You do realize 69.5 is considered mediocre or meh right?

Meh or not, you’ve been telling me over and over that his best season was his sophomore year - using raw stats to back your argument, and even using a guy who plays a completely different position to prop up your position, but it’s pretty clear that Pappoe’s best season was in 2022, under Robinson.

Is that not accurate?

Does this mean that Alabama's gonna be chasing a fourth losing season in a row, too , in '27?

Auburn does NOT hurt for $$. Evidenced by the +$75MM paid out to Malzhan &Harkins staffs + buyouts for Hugh's OC/DC this year.

They've forked out an impressive chunk of money the last 3-4 yrs and still beefed up their NIL coffers.

And to top it off, they're chasing the FOURTH year in a row of sub .500 winning seasons....what a waste!!!

Statistically speaking that is factually correct. I was also the same person saying his stats were nothing to write home about.

The guy cleaning up his play little more in his senior year just to having an ordinary year meant little to him or Auburn though.

Got it, so you agree that Pappoe’s best season at Auburn, per the PFF numbers you posted a bit ago, was in 2022. The same season he was a semi-finalist for the Butkus Award, led the team in tackles, and was coached by Robinson.

Glad that’s settled.

If you saw that grade in action I imagine you would be less eager to defend it.

I don’t have any reason to defend Pappoe. Just pointing out that his best season was under Robinson, a guy another Auburn fan referred to as “the worst linebackers coach Auburn has ever had.”

Reading through this thread just reminds us all how painful it is to be an Auburn fan. My hat’s off to you guys for your perseverance if nothing else.

To burn your own program to the ground just in the hopes the flames will spread to Tuscaloosa is amazing to watch.

If anything people need to stop justifying a hire when I called his time at Auburn neutral at best or worst.

Some Auburn fans still consider Pappoe a bust. But even if Pappoe really did turn it on his senior year that doesnt necessarily mean it was because of Robinson. Auburn also once hired Tom Brady's OC while he was at Michigan; ask us how that went.

Oh but you do. You would gladly blow up Auburn athletics if it meant Alabama went down in the process. Auburn is the suicide bomber of the SEC. It just is what it is.

What do you care if anyone wants to pump up the hire? Why is that threatening to you? You don't have to answer here but it just seems really strange that anyone cares this much about it.

Have you ever heard of the term "none of your business" before? I mean you can write whatever you want but ultimately, this much over-concern is going to cause you personal upset or you're just doing it to be a jerk (probably the latter).

No one cares what you think about this to be perfectly honest as much as there is not one Auburn fan who cares what I think about their program.
