Surprising that as big as the Alabama/LSU game is (at night recently, usually a top ten matchup, rowdy and loud cajuns in "college football's toughest environment") that they haven't had more success in Baton Rouge recently (0-4 in night games there since 2012).

LSU just paid off the mortgage for BDS.

I have never met an Alabama fan in person in my life who has melted about LSU.
nor have i.

I just like beating up the LSU trash on here.

It's easy and fun.

I've been to Birmingham. I've been to Montgomery. I've been to Mobile. I've been to Tuscaloosa. They're basically shittier versions of Louisiana cities with less to do, and mediocre food options.

Now, I'll be honest, I enjoyed the Schoals, and Huntsville.

I've lived in both states and will never live in either again.

Louisiana was worse. Good fishing though.

I've lived all over the country from coast to coast. Never had trouble finding good food in any state. Probably the worst was California, but only because they think an 8oz steak is big. But even then I know some good BBQ places, great Cheesesteak places, etc.

Sounds like a you thing.

Don't blame you, I wouldn't either. There are only 2 southern states I would live in, Tennessee and Florida.

bama fans melting or not, they sure do love to live in the past. And as for TS being a shite hole, funny how the college football media is always bragging about it. BDS is famous for its pretty lights.

Never been inside TS, but like every other Mississippi river city, Baton Rouge looks like a giant mud hole.

Everything is brown and looks dreary.

I didn't say it was bad. I said it was mediocre(eta: kind of Like Bama's performance against LSU), compared to a lot of places we are blessed to frequent around New Orleans, and throughout Louisiana. Most places are.

What's your definition of "the past?" Anything over four months ago?

No, the entire thing about this region has better food and all that stuff is just stupid in general.

This state has the best BBQ, this state has the best that. It's all dumb.

Because I've been to many places where the food was not good. And I've been to many places where the food was good. It's not about state, it's not about area, it's about the individual places.

So do your fricking homework and you can find good food anywhere.

Most of what you eat/like I probably wouldn't even put in my mouth.

Food snobs are dumb.

Not exactly, with LSU fans there is a window.

Anything older than 9 years ago is also ok, provided the year starts with a 20.
