Calling the Mississippi River muddy...lol. You do know where all that mud comes from, right? And criticizing a stadium you've never been in speaks volumes as to your credibility. I'll let the national college football media & coaches & players speak for it greatness. No bias, either way, from those sources.

No, the entire thing about this region has better food and all that stuff is just stupid in general.
I'd say you're in the vast, vast minority with this statement.

Umm, of course I know where it comes from and why. Doesn't change the fact.
I didn't comment about the stadium itself, but while driving "over" it, doesn't look all that grand really.

Probably, but it's true.
You can say the best place you ever eaten is in this state, but that doesn't mean the entire state does it well.
Every brisket place in Texas is not Franklin BBQ. You'll find other good brisket places and you'll find other not so good brisket places. You have to do your homework.
In Silicon Valley there is a place called Amato's, it has by far some of the best cheesesteak I've ever eaten. They were originally from Philly and brought it all with them(big eagles fans also, but I don't hold it against them).
Does that somehow mean California makes some of the best cheesesteak in the country that the majority of states can't touch? frick no. There are a few other cheesesteak places that are pretty good, but there are also some that aren't so good.
But some food snob will be like "You can only get a good cheesesteak in Philly". But I bet you can just as easily get one that isn't that great at all if you don't do your homework. Because it's all about the individual places.
It's just bullshite.
Know any good cheesesteak places where you live?

Just because its "true" to you doesnt make it the truth.
Sure, you can find good and bad places everywhere but you damn sure arent finding a great poboy in Minnesota without a ton of research and probably some travel whereas you can generally find a great poboy in Louisiana a lot easier.
I've lived in the Midwest for a couple of years now, I've found some good restaurants here and there but on a whole they arent on par with restaurants you find in the South.
Regions got their "food reputations" for a reason, people didnt just make that shite up one day.

Just because you can't get the best whatever specific item you are wanting doesn't mean they don't have other good food to offer.
Most got their food reputations years ago before the huge explosion in growth/variety/innovation for the restaurant industry.
Everyone has stepped up their game. Information flows more freely. Things are more widely available.

No doubt.
Thats kind of the point.
Certain regions have their specialties. As you alluded to in your OP, most really good cheesesteak places have some connection to Philly.
Thats not to say you can't find a good one somewhere else, you're just more likely to find a good one in Philly.

What started this was someone claiming there were only mediocre food places to eat at outside Louisiana.
My point was more that you don't have to go to Philly anymore. I was on the opposite side of the country, 3000 miles away from Philly.
I wouldn't argue if you said the best cheese steaks are Philly style, I think they are. But I will say you are wrong if you think the only good ones are made in Philly.

A restaurant in Montgomery probably would have mediocre food options to someone from Louisiana.

Because they can only enjoy one type of food?
Glad I'm able to enjoy many different types of food. I'll eat Mexican one day, Italian the next, then go for a nice steak or hamburger. Got a couple of racks of baby back ribs I'll be smoking later this week.
Sometimes I'll be really bold and I'll have Mexican for lunch and then Italian for dinner. Yep, you can do that.

A place I used to go to in Mississippi did one with white American, yellow American, and provolone.
Was my favorite.
