It looks like a lot of our resident Gumps are going to have to find a new team.

Did Saban make a stupid comment saying he didn't know what time the national anthem was being played? Because that's what the whole argument is about, dumb arse.

Meh, forced patriotism reminds me of North Korea.

Nor is LSU's, nor is Florida's, UGA,'s nor the SECCG nor any of the national title games I've been too or anybody we play because the large marching bands play the national anthem on the field. The national anthem is played immediately after pregame warmups at any university I go to.. I have no idea how the womens NCAA tournament works. Apples to oranges. .

Now SHOULD the teams be on the field is a different question.

This is my thread. I decide what it’s about.

The Alabama football team should be ashamed of themselves. I take it you guys aren’t going to follow them anymore?

They've moved the goalposts, now that they realize Alabama teams aren't on the field/court either, at times.

Where are their basketball players?

Uhh, excuse me, I have season tickets, and the Alabama MBB players are standing on the court facing the other team, who are also on the court, when the national anthem is sung at Coleman.

Feel free to manually engage this 360-degree video and weep.

You idiot.

with all the media and groups supporting the idea America is a country built on slave ownership.....the National Anthem is easy to protest.

I remember Saban took heat for sticking with his players when they were convienced BLM was looking out for the downtrodden black young men

...... better to sit it out than have half the team knealing in protest.

Here in America you are Free to Protest...as a team or as an individual.

I've watched that one, I've also watched videos where they were nowhere to be found.

I'm not even being coy, I've been going to basketball games there for decades and I just can't remember that happening.

Not to say it hasn't, but I don't remember it. (It's certainly not normal.)

And again, remind me why this is so important to you?

Why are you letting a WBB game trigger you so much that you're deep-diving into Coleman Coliseum pre-game videos?

Just because a person may be free to do something does not mean they will be free from the consequences of doing it.

My guilty pleasure is exposing Alabama fan hypocrisy.
