This just got serious. Any chance we can arrange Hugh Freeze and Les Miles to swap teams for one game?

Dating back to the 60s, I think all but one of Bama's NCs were under a Democrat President or President-elect.

Yep. Reagan and both Bush's were horrible to Alabama football. Clinton winning gave us a national title a few months afterwards and then Obama's election in 08 really got the dynasty going again.

You'd think a team with a shade of red and am an elephant mascot would be more successful with republican presidents.

If Alabama had any national pride they'd throw the game this year so Hilary doesn't get elected.

I'm a liberal (but not a pain in the arse, pc, sjw), so this has been over of my favorite stats for years. But I never knew about the Bama/LSU presidential connection.

hope there was someway that both LSU and Bama could lose.

you've got a problem Fishfinding man. the only way they both lose is if y'all beat them both. I guess I see your dilemma now.
