The espn article says according to fan duel they didn’t receive a single bet on this game. Unless the game just wasn’t on the site for some reason that is complete bullshite. Why would they lie about this?

LSU guy said it was shut down before being announced. There is your source of why it was shut down before being announced.

Only way you knew was you were one of them trying to make a bet.

It's kind of hilarious that a $100k bet on a regular season college baseball game is itself suspicious. No one bets that kind of money on a regular season college baseball game. I totally would if I had the money
Is it confirmed to be $100k or that large? Wasn’t the guy only making $275k as was said somewhere on here? He probably didn’t have that sort of money for a bet? Makes sense as that high of a bet would be rare for a regular season game.

That's what BAMA gets for hiring a guy from the state of Georgia. What did they expect?

Plus, why would a sports' book even accept a bet favoring LSU to win with Skenes scheduled to pitch? None of this makes much sense to me.

Because they give you the bet with much worse odds. Something like -350 would be 350 to win 100 bucks and your money back. When you have insider knowledge, and you bet on something that directly changes the odds, that’s against the law. So bohanon may have gotten the bet at -250, then sat his pitcher and it goes -400 bc the next pitcher is much worse than their Friday night guy.

ETA - so if he did the -250 and put up $100,000 he stood to win $40,000?

I'm being honest when I say this is the first time I've ever laid eyes on Brad Bohannon.
Why jeopardize your damn coaching career gambling when you could've made a fortune as a spokesperson for Invisalign?

Yeah, right. We know it was a $100K bet...because? Well, somebody, somewhere said it was $100K.

Bama threw the LSU series?

That is correct. Had he not had inside information and bet it after the information came out, and lets say the odds move to -400 he only wins 25000. While not guaranteed a win, he's using insider information to get better odds before they knowingly change.

Alabama has the filthiest athletic department in the world.

How deep in the hole was Brad to be making $100k bets? Remember the Arkansas series where he acted crazy? How much did he bet on that series?

I find it ironic with Pete Rose coaching and playing for the Reds when he had his gambling scandal. The biggest betting scandal in MLB alongside the Black Sox scandal.

Well the first game they did kind of.

At least this explains some of the bizarre pitching changes Alabama made, or failed to make, that cost them games this year.
