Tennessee is 20-9-3 against LSU
Exactly, and 2-6 vs LSU since 2000, and has a 0.59 win% in that time compared to LSU's 0.78 win%. That's why I would like to see UT rotate onto LSU's schedule more often, now would be a good time to even up the series.
118 years of competing in the same conference, and LSU and UT have only played 32 games - three of which were in the post season. That's ridiculous.
Give some other teams a shot at the Vols, Bama, that's all I'm asking.
...oh and, Cannon was ROBBED!!!1!

This had nothing to do with an 11 game schedule. Nope. No way.

quote:Look, there are traditional rivalries in the SEC that are part of the conference's rich heritage. Ala/Tenn and Aub/Geo are 2 of the most famous (LSU/Tulane was once one). These rivalries are every bit as important to the schools as the Ala/Aub, Miss/Miss St, Geo/Sou Car, Tenn/Fla, etc. are. I've been around SEC football for well over 50 years and don't remember anybody bitching about the Ala/Tenn game when they were both powerhouses and Fla was a cupcake...I wonder why.

In all seriousness, this is really sad.

So basically any fan of any team, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, or whatever cries about the fact that they aren't Alabama, and that we are so jealous and every team should look up to Alabama? Got it.

Can a Bama fan please logically explain to me exactly why UGA needed to be replaced by UK on last years schedule? Obviously, you bama fans understand the inner workings and complexities of the bridge schedule more than I. Honestly, I never understood why bama got UGA off their schedule and UK on and LSU got UK (I think) taken off theirs and UGA added.
ETA: let me add that I actually enjoy watching LSU play better competition so I didn't mind the switch other than the fact it seemed shady as frick.

This is why I need the expertise of the Bama fans. I'm not sure who LSU dropped but I know that UGA was added and that they were taken off Bama's schedule. I'm just curious as to why it happened.

There was a method to it, and it went along with the previous rotation with the added teams as a hiccup. its been shown on here many times

You have a link to it? I tried to stay out of the schedule threads last year because, like I said, I enjoy watching LSU playing better competition. Now that the season is over I just figured out I would try and learn exactly why it happened.
