Idc much about the Iron Bowl, but Bama people saying Tennessee is a bigger rival to slight Auburn is so hysterical!

You try so hard to be petty that you pretend that beating a program that hasn't been relevant in over a decade (Tennessee) is more important to you rofl. Auburn has been consistently good since like 1980, moreso than Tennessee (or Alabama or LSU for that matter).

I do hope that Tennessee gets their shite together though, since I've rarely seen them and Bama be good at the same time

Not sure what you are going on about really, but some fans hate Tennessee more than Auburn.

I guess it depends on where you are from and what era you grew up in.

Yeah, they are all in their 70s.

I can find LSU fans that hate Ole Miss more than anyone. I’m no spring chicken myself, but even i find that sort of thinking laughable.

Times change, man. And ever since 1989 when Auburn got you in Jordan Hare Stadium they have been your biggest rival.

I always see Bama ppl insisting that Tennessee is the bigger rival around this time of years. It's obvious that they want to pretend AU is still little brother, but to do that they're claiming the silly old guy next door as their nemesis.

Tennessee is just so much better than either auburn or lsu, down through the years, it's hard not to be wary of them as Alabama fans.

When Tennessee is on, they are really on and it's a much more intense rivalry, at that time, than auburn is.

They are both big rivals. Just because UT has been wandering in the desert for the last 13-14 years doesn't decrease the historical significance of that rivalry, especially as long as fatass Phil Fulmer is drawing breath. And of course Bama hates AU,

Stupid post is stupid.

And playing Tennessee instead of Florida or Georgia can keep them at home in the playoffs. To hell with Alabama!!!!

Odd seeing this thread in November. Like clockwork, the whiny LSU fans cry about this subject in October, every fricking year.

bullshite.

All the people you reference are old enough to have wall-to-wall carpeting in their dwellings. They don't matter.

I mean, compare the series records, of course Le Slagpit U feels small. Tenner and Aubie at least have win totals in the 30s.

I'm 32. I care more about the Tennessee game than the Auburn game. Tennessee winning 10 of 12 from 95-06 is still pretty vivid in my mind.

When Auburn and UT play, I'd rather see Auburn win. Not sure how else to put it.

Everything about that vile school in Tennessee irks me from their pumpkin puke, prison orange jumpsuits to their checkerboard endzone. It is an awful place. People forget how bad that fan base can be when they experience the least bit of success. I wish their Ath Dept and all of its programs the worst in every way. I enjoy beating them every year; it is the one beat down that will never get boring.
