These guys literally kill each other, assault opposing fans, and poison 200 year old trees when they lose.

What’s happening is what’s expected of the fan base. I feel sorry for the post-Saban coach(es).

What’s more boring: Competing for and winning championships on an annual basis or playing in some mid-level bowl that will be forgotten about within hours?

I've tried to watch a few Bama games this year and it's literally a snore fest. Bama demoralizes their opponents 5 minutes into the game by outclassing them almost immediatly and it's just not fun to watch. It's like watching a D1 school take on a D2 school every game. They flat out make teams like Arkansas which have D1 talent across the board and they treat them like patsies. This Alabama team isn't losing this year.

The field vs Alabama is still a good bet. We just aren't going to lose to anybody who isn't in that Top 10-15 range. It isn't going to happen.

Yea, I don't apologize for being mad that our 2nd team gave up a 4th down TD to Arkansas' first team last night.

No, but entitlement has crept in the past few years. If Bama doesn't win by 50 points, everyone begins wondering what's wrong with Alabama.

Looked like a sprinkling of 3rd string when they allowed the td.

This Vandy fan can tell you from personal experience -- as, judging from your choice of team icon, can you -- that being bored by watching your team win is always better than being bored by watching your team lose.

Hell, any Bama fan over the age of 21 or so can tell you the same thing from personal experience.

nope I remember the years in between 1992-2009 it like this now...

Why shite on 2008? Has to be my favorite non title year. The year we signed Julio. The year we blew out Clemson and Georgia (blackout) and "made his arse quit." The year we ended the AU streak and spanked that arse 36(?)-0. That's the year this programs' identity was really established.

We didn't finish Florida and laid an egg with Utah. But it remains one of the most memorable for me because you knew things were going to be different.

And no it doesn't get boring.

I don't get bored.

I like watching the young kids come in for reps by the third qtr.

Quality game experience and building depth. UA has played 16 true freshmen this yr. Gets me even more excited about the future.

Living in the moment with an eye toward an even brighter tomorrow, how could that be boring?

No. There's always something to bitch about. I felt like we let Arkansas hang around too long last night. That game should have been 38-0 at the half.

Exactly. I was posting on another forum last night. A Georgia fan was making a similar point. He said he was upset that Georgia was tied at 21 with Mizzou. Some Bama fans were upset that it wasn’t at least 35 points at the half.
