Upcoming home and homes with Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. Not sure who's out there that you think would be a step up.

Alabama owes them a beating after Flutie beating our arse in the 80s.

Someone who clearly hasn’t seen the opponents Alabama is lining up. These are the smaller power 5 games. Alabama has been adding multiple ones for each season moving forward.

2031 and 2034. It's insane how far out they schedule some of these games. With our luck, Saban will still be coaching then
I was in New Orleans the other day and sauces told me that by then Ed O will be one of Saban's coaching assistants and will have several more rings under his tutelage... My sauces are usually right so don't bother disputing this...

Terrible
My now-kindergartner and I will watch the 2034 game together his freshman year of college.

Really stupid to keep booking series like this 15 years in advance when the NCAA may not even exist in 15 years, or at least not in it's current state.
Also, COVID proved you can schedule a game in 3 days if you have the right parties.

This is worthy of an announcement meme? This is on par with adding southern university in BR

What does the ncaa existing have to do with it?

Every one of these home and home are paired with another power 5 OOC opponent in each season.

State played UMASS in Gillette Stadium a few years back. It was an awesome trip and the venue was off the charts. The Patriots have a great facility.
This will be a great trip for the fan base regardless of where the game is played.

It's subject to change, and often does, but athletic departments project years of revenues, expenditures, stadium construction projects, and other logistics like travel to make all of this work, so there has to at least be a plan.
There is a software access point that ADs use among themselves to put out open future dates or to find opponents to play when things do change. It's actually otherwise very complicated, because there might be a few teams willing to play each other, but there have to be corresponding open dates, open facilities not under construction, etc.

Pretty sure this one is set for Chestnut Hill. Patriots stadium would be awesome but I'd prefer playing on BC's campus

Is this supposed to be an UPGRADE from the usual MERCER's on alabama's schedule?

Well, it's a nice change from
Mercer
WCU
Ark St
ULL
Citadel
Fresno
Co State
West Kent
Kent State
Chattanooga
Talk about Murderers Row over the last 4 years.
Hope alabama can survive NMSU, So. Miss, Mercer in 2021

You either haven't read any of this thread, or are being purposefully obtuse.
