Being purposefully obtuse. I mean, the poster looked up Alabama’s previous OOC games and only listed the non-power opponents. As if anyone else isn’t playing the same.

The Alabama AD has stated numerous times that teams are not exactly beating down their door to schedule them, as one might imagine. (It's actually been difficult to find anyone to agree to play.)

I've heard Saban say this as well

and it's a LIE!

Look at the schedule from 2022-2032 and compare to the previous 3 years..or the previous 10 when alabama was getting made fun of on scheduling. Crazy how if you actually try to schedule big games,...they happen.

Notable other Powerhouses on the schedule previous years...

Western Kentucky *
Middle Tenn
ULM
Charleston Southern
Citadel*
Fresno
Georgia St*
Co State *
Western Carolina *
So Miss *
Kent State*
Chattanooga *
FAU*

*scheduled 2 or more times

Congrats on FSU and USC over the last 10 years!

I’m sure LSU didn’t schedule similar teams.

You clearly don’t understand. 8 of these games listed here are BigXII teams. They’re all worse than Boston College. Just ask aggy. The BigXII was/is such a pussified conference that after dominating it since its creation, aggy after going undefeated and after winning all of the conference championships, decided to pack up and leave in order to face some real completion. Therefore, BigXII teams do not count as legit competition.

Why don't you list the OOC P5 programs alabama has played over the last 15 years, then tell me how it lines up with the AD and Sabans…"no one wants to play us" BS in defense of crappy scheduling.

Then compare it to this...doesn't really line up with that BS narrative..huh?

2022: at Texas (Sept. 10)
2023: Texas (Sept. 9), at USF (Sept. 16)
2024: USF (Sept. 7), at Wisconsin (Sept. 14)
2025: at Florida State (Aug. 30), Wisconsin (Sept. 13)
2026: at West Virginia (Sept. 5), USF (Sept. 12), Florida State (Sept. 19)
2027: West Virginia (Sept. 4), at Ohio State (Sept. 18)
2028: Ohio State (Sept. 9), at Oklahoma State (Sept. 23)
2029: at Notre Dame (Sept. 1) Oklahoma State (Sept. 15)
2030: at Georgia Tech (Aug. 31), Notre Dame (Sept. 14)
2031: Georgia Tech (Aug. 30), Boston College (Sept. 13)
2032: Arizona (Sept. 4), at Oklahoma (Sept. 11)
2033: at Arizona (Sept. 3), Oklahoma (Sept. 10)
2034: at Virginia Tech (Sept. 2), Boston College (Sept. 16)
2035: Virginia Tech (Sept. 1)

Just admit alabama was scheduling like a bunch of pussies.

But hey, Mercer, ga Southern and West Charlotte are great programs

I'd venture a guess that most of the OOC teams played 10 years ago were scheduled before Saban or the current AD were even there. (Fans didn't like it either.)

Several of those teams you mention were added as a favor due to coaching relationships, like Kent State, Colorado State, etc.

Every single school in the conference did this over that period.

But if you want to pretend that P5 teams are lining up to play Alabama and Nick Saban is lying about it, knock yourself out.

I don't have to pretend, PAL

Previous 10 years, "no one wants to play us"

All of a sudden, the schedule is full of P5 teams, 2 a season

Just admit the AD/Saban were lying and were scheduling like pussies

Sat in the Alabama student section in 1984 with some friends from high school for that game. Heckuva comeback by Flutie. 2nd half exposed some weaknesses Perkins' team had.

Boston people are really nice people. They’re about as down to earth as you can get in the northeast. Friendly, helpful, polite. Can’t hate on Boston people.

Except Bruce Pearl. He sucks.

Since Saban's arrival, Bama has played:

Penn. State x2
Michigan
Clemson
USC
Florida State
Wisconsin
VTech x2
WVU

What's the point of pretending Bama hasn't scheduled big name programs, the majority of which were played in week 1? Oh, right. You're a salty LSU fan. Carry on.

Did you miss the part where I said that the AD and Saban probably weren't even there when those games were scheduled?

You posted a schedule that goes out 14 years in advance.

Nick Saban has been at Alabama for 14 years.

Try really hard to make the connection.

Woo doggie, that was a rough year (Perkin's second).

First losing season in decades, and broke the bowl streak.

They really weren't a "bad team" just unlike most years the breaks went against them (except Auburn). They could have beaten BC,Tennessee and LSU. Oddly enough there were only two games they didn't have a realistic chance with in the last 5:00-- Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.
