I'm not happy. But this feels a bit premature. We made and won a game in the playoffs.
We beat every SEC team we played (looking at you, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, vandy) and split games with OU and UGA).
It wasn't a horrible year. It was a horrible ending.
I hope Indiana goes on to win it all . Hard not to cheer for that story.
Im guessing Cignetti would have come to Alabama two years ago...there has to be a lot of second guessing in the Athletic department at this point. But at that point DeBoer had accomplished more I suppose.

No it won't.
People don't seem to understand the difference between the top teams and even teams ranked below #3. There is a gap.
It's why the whole playoff thing is stupid. As I've said all post season, it should have just been a BCS style game of Indiana vs Georgia. Adding more playoff spots does NOT create a bunch of quality teams.
Most years we wouldn't be playing the #1 team, we'd have gone on to play some team like Oklahoma in a bowl game.
