The 2 quad 4 losses hurt. Look what quad 4 losses did to Vanderbilt. It kept them out. They are lucky they are not where vandy is right now.

Listen we can agree to disagree, but if you can't see A&M was shite on the seeding, then OK.

That's why we play the games, Alabama #1 overall? why the team in second place is # 7??? You don't find this odd?

I think it's pretty obvious from how you've unraveled; you biggest issue isn't how they seeded A&M.

You biggest issue is you can't stand how they seeded Alabama as #1 overall.

Unfortunately, football does not do this. In cfb, they look at what have you done lately which is stupid. In bb they look at the whole body of work. And they do it for 4 times as many teams as they do in football. Anyways ...

I am all for punishing bad OOC but the commitee always goes to far with it. A&M has 17 conference wins with wins over Bama, Arky, Auburn x2, Tenn, Vandy x2, Mizzou x2. Conference wins have to mean something as well

Just curious when the last time a team received the #1 overall seed and the team that finished #2 in the same conference and #2 in conference tournament was a 7 seed?

In 2010-11, Alabama won the west @12-4 (21-11 overall) which was the second best in the conference.

They weren’t invited at all.

I agree the seeding was ridiculous, but I have to wonder if that wasn't done with a second round matchup in mind.

They beat teh #1 seed -Alabama

The intention of this whole thread seems to be pointing out the games that Alabama lost.

Go ahead and list all five of them and just get it out of your system.

The overwhelming response yesterday—from just about every commentator—was the same.
You choosing to ignore that reality doesn’t change anything.

I'm not ignoring anything. You played nine Q4 games and lost two of them - one of them at home. That's on y'all at the end of the day.

The fact that you may be under seeded is more punitive to the higher seeds in your region than it is to you.

I took some shite on the Miz/Bama game thread from the beaker that is always on here spewing shite b/c I stated Bama would be the #1 overall seed regardless of the outcome of that game. Glad Bama was #1 overall.
