Most of the NFL QBs elevated the talent around them when they played in college. AJ had as much talent around him in college then most, but he really never elevated their play. He will make a good living in the NFL, but he will never be a star.

Watching Bama fans get notted up trying to defend AJ NFL potential is fun to watch. We first saw it with Greg McElroy and now AJ. Tua is next.

Allen showed potential to be something really special in a couple years. He definitely deserves and needs the start if he is the franchise guy moving on.
