Elko is only like 7 mill, can work his way up. Jimbo was already too paid.

I often wonder what’s the best rate to pay a coach, like Lane, he’s Top 5 right now I think. Is he worth $11M a year? Maybe

This badass merch was flying off the shelves after Aggy’s greatest season of all-time in 2020…

Didn't Elko proclaim that he was a "program builder", not a "fast talker"?

I think Elko actually said he was not a “fast walker”…

Remember when tamu lost a bidding war to LSU over Dave Aranda ?

And they lost a bidding war to LSU over Mike DenBrock?

And they lost a bidding war to LSU over Scott Woodward?

And they had to be dragged to court to pay for John Chavis’ $400,000.00 buyout ?

Hate to break it to you, but brokedick aggies can’t compete with championship programs.

But congrats on assembling that $30 million roster back in 2022. Aggies went 11-11 overall and 6-9 in the SEC with that group.

Yall fired a guy who took his last team to the Texas Bowl to hire a coach that said to judge him after Year 3 which will end in the Texas Bowl. Pot. Kettle.

Yep. Louisiana State fans have zero self awareness. They lost to this first year coach.

WC HICK
How pathetic is A&M, lol. With all the money they have, they can’t field a championship team or a good coach. Their hated rival comes in to the conference and goes to the SEC Championship game and the CFP.

ANM does NOT have all that much money. Just numerous veterinarians and farmers chunkin` pocket change at em.

you only believe they have money is because they told you they're rich. Ask yourself why they're always broke?

Because they spend all their money, duh, but rich folks don't do that. Think about that.

If you really think about it, it is nuts they paid almost $80 million for Mike freaking Elko.

That’s the kind of money you pay to get an Urban Meyer, Pete Carroll or Nick Saban to come out of retirement

I just hope LSU is paying attention. If Kelly goes 8-4 again next year it does no good to pay the buyout. May as well ride it out for a couple more years until a better option becomes available.

In his first year in the SEC, A&M’s fat frick of a coach thought he won a natty after beating LSU, just to lose 4 straight games to P4 opponents.

So crazy that after A&M absolutely destroyed and embarrassed LSU they still both finished the regular season 8&4, huh?

4-straight losses to P4 teams after Aggy won their natty in October and swore they were a playoff lock

Summer of Elko has a nice, fatass ring to it

This type of comment is a bit early.

People said this about Mark Richt and Jim Donnan when Richt went 8-4 his first year at UGA.

People said that UGA downgraded from Richt to Smart when Smart went 8-5 his first year at UGA.

Both won the SEC in their second year. One finished 2nd in the nation, the other 3rd.

So maybe... wait another season before deciding?
