Very similar to Arkansas. You can't tell them anything until it unfolds before their eyes. I wonder how different they'll be at the end of this season? But mostly it is the unfounded arrogance that is really hilarious. As in any fanbase there are always delusional homers...but the serious belief behind it is what makes it entertaining if not a little exhausting.

Right. The whole of college football told A&M fans that the Aggies would get slaughtered their first season in the SEC, and those stupid homers wouldn't believe it until it came to pass.

You lucked into a once in a lifetime player. Without him you're a 5 loss team AT LEAST in 2012. We'll see how well you do now that fame has completely gone to his head or worse what you do when he's injured, suspended or gone to the NFL

Benefit of being Texas A&M and not an Arkansas-like place. We are in fertile recruiting grounds, getting Manziel was essentially our birthright. You find good talent here. The teasips just got a 3 star QB turn in to a superstar, so we were due for ours.

I do think it's cute that they think they can just change logos at each 25 yard line and that's going to dramatically change what they have been since the beginning of time
