The problem with the Longhorn fanbase in general is that they take a modicum of historical success and a slightly above average academic offer and feel the strange need to elevate that pedigree far beyond reality. They have no self-awareness that their student body and alumni base represents thoroughly average folks who might be enjoyable or even tolerated except for the fact that they desperately want to be viewed as elite and special by everyone all the time.
I dont mind the liberal PC stuff. I do chuckle at the constant, desperate search from Longhorns everywhere for anything that might justify their horribly unsupported and overinflated view of themselves.

What sets Texas fans apart from all other fanbases I have seen here over 15 years is their utter ignorance of their opponents. All teams have sunshine pumper fans and fans who insult you, but Longhorn fans are uniquely and proudly ignorant about anything to do with LSU football. They don’t know what they don’t know and they get insulted if you give them any facts or data points. There has been almost no actual football discussion other than them just telling us that they are the best ever at everything.
This statement is made ironic by a quick drive by Tigerdroppings where any poster who thinks they game might possibly be competitive is shouted down

Texas is a better choice for literally every major/ discipline there is. We outrank aggy by every metric
I’m from Austin. My grandparents and entire moms side of the family went to UT. This is the most false statement I’ve ever seen in my life.
I won’t comment on majors, departments, colleges I’m not apart of. But speaking I’m from personal experience when I say The Bush School SHITS ALL OVER UT ‘s LBJ school.
It’s not even close. We put so many fricking people into the intelligence agencies it would make your head spin

You know what stirred it up? Georgia "not wanting to be there" set all this shite in motion.
It's up to LSU to remind everybody that texas is not "back" again, again.

Blame the UT poster for saying “every major / discipline”. Patently false.
As a liberal arts major myself, let me say congratulations to UT for being the best liberal arts undergraduate university in Texas
No one gives a frick. Your programs that matter are substantially lacking when considering your funding. It’s actually embarrassing that UT is in Texas.
ANDDDDD A&M’s liberal arts graduate degrees are worth more than UT’s ... and everyone here in College Station thinks liberal arts degrees are for subhumans, so how exactly does that happen?

Let’s not get political
As a fellow Libertarian I’m sure you understand the deep seated desire to serve your country and the internal conflict that comes with realizing how fricked our deep state political institutions are.
I will say during my time at A&M I have come to know MANY amazing Americans, Texans, and Aggies who I studied hard with - and drank even harder with - who are now at the DIA, NSA, or the Agency. And they are good people, experts in their region, who want to save American lives and make the world a better place.
Any problems you have with the intel agencies should be directed at the Northeast Elite and their universities.

Nah. It’s not just liberal arts. Engineering, business, pre med, pre law, journalism, literally every science, Texas outranks aggy.
Show me otherwise. Prove me wrong. Using actual facts, not adorable “I knew a guy who worked at Exxon” stories.

Liberal arts major claims to not give a frick about Texas having the best liberal arts school in the state, and then goes on a rant about liberal arts, which no one else on this board gives a flying frick about
Of course Texas doesn’t have a better farming major than A&M, we’re all applauding you for catching that Texas guy in a lie

If you think Washington DC, or even the WORLD, places any value in a degree from UT you are sadly mistaken.
Nothing but a bunch off of effeminate queers with their dicks cut off come from UT anymore, which is actually extremely sad, given how important your university used to be, not just in Texas but this country and the world.
Now, UT is just another left-wing, propagandist, affirmative action loving, **** arse, gun grabbing school. It’s largely a side-effect from being in Austin, but now it’s infecting the highest levels of your university.
Everyone from my high school class that went to UT, outside of those who went to McCombs, don’t even deserve to live in this country.
I, as an individual and an adult, have learned FAR MORE about life at A&M than I ever would have learned in Austin.
That entire city can burn in Hell. And I am from there - before it was cool to be from there. You all live in a fricking complacent arse bubble that I can’t wait to see popped.
I grew up two miles away from UT. frick that place, forever and always.

Eh it's not worth it.
We both know it's a bald-faced lie but this thread is just pandering to the ags that feel like they've been bullied by the flagship

I got the letter from UT today... I HATE that place! I can't believe I even wanted to go there in the first place!"
