Sorry, squirt. I actually attended Texas and graduated. Didn't even apply anywhere else, actually, which I know you're not familiar with that considering that the College Station campus is replete with kids rejected from UT.

CSTX is not known as a gay-friendly city

Texas is a good school, but it isn't a GREAT school like sip fans claim. It's also essentially a leftist bunch of tree-huggers that would do well in places like CA or Boulder. The funny thing is those who go to the school actually could care less about sports in general, and are decent
The sip fans that are a HUGE issue are the t-shirt idiots who went to some crap school like SWT or Texas State. Those idiots that couldn't even remotely get accepted to either A&M or Texas trumpet how awesome the school is without fail every chance they can.

The school and city are awesome, and although neither A&M or Texas is Stanford, A&M's acceptance rate is almost twice that of Texas. So they might have been accepted by A&M if they tried.
A whole bunch of LSU fans will make it to the game, and but for the weather, will get a good impression of Texas' best public university.

The hotels and sixth street are on the other side of campus. They will not see your run down and aged buildings but the will see and sit in a texas tech level stadium that even Baylor laughs at

The ags on this board who get in these kinds of pissing matches are rejects and retards. I don't know a single Texas grad who doesn't recognize that Rice is the premier university in the state, but they also recognize that UT Austin is the best public school in the state.
Just because Texas isn't the best school in Texas or the country doesn't mean that most people other than Aggies and the ill informed think that Texas is a better school, in a better location, than A&M.
And with that I'm bowing out of any thread that isn't about football or recruits. Woo hoo.
