The Les Miles approach doesn't win championships anymore.

It is what it is.

OP was asking about Jimbo to corndog chief.

I get it sport, not sure Bama would even give him a look, sorry if that offends you….
Lots of one hit NC coach out there……..he had never impressed me.
Well, since you're coming in on this, let's pose the question to you:

How would you feel if LSU took Saban?

I'm not asking if that's a realistic happening, asking (as the OP did) how you'd react if your head coach left for a conference foe?

I didn’t and I believe the same thing. Most Aggies I know never doubted Jimbo.

Hey, I was a journalism major. All I have to say to justify that number is "sources say Jimbo has been offered the State of Louisiana or $150M ..his choice."

Prove me wrong.

Why does LSU give him a better shot at a natty? They both play in the west so either way the path to the playoffs goes through alabama and the best team in the east.

I can promise everyone that gets a paycheck cares about income tax, Texas doesn't have income tax.

Pretty sure we are good either way. Might be better without depending on who we target.

would completely and absolutely shocked. Like 100x more shocked than when we beat Bama. It just seems like such an unrealistic option.

Fisher and Sexton pissed off so many LSU boosters with their negotiating tactics in 2015, word was passed down to not even make a call to Fisher this go-round.

I would be sad to lose him.

I wouldn't be mad. Each person has a choice but I'd prefer he was the Aggie HC.

seeing the collective LSU fanbase do a complete 180 on their opinion of Fisher’s coaching ability

Some may, but I’d say at least half would be pissed. I know I would. While he does know significantly more about football than Orgeron, he’s not a guy that would excite many people in BR. I’d take a lower tier candidate like Napier over him every day of the week.

*not saying it happens, just a hypothetical

why tf would LSU want him?
