I would not miss his offensive play calling and QB recruiting. That's for damn sure.

Depending on who we hired there's a chance we would be better on offense and if we retain Elko then no change on defense.

So it could be a net positive for us if we went out and hired a top shelf recruiter and OC.

I’m not sure. I think A&M will give him anything he wants, and he knows that. Only reason to leave is for a guaranteed contract elsewhere. Woodward was inevitable. Not sure that Fisher is though.

As for me. I think he could be replaced

Especially given that the LSU fanbase resoundingly does not want him.

Great majority of Ags would be pissed as hell and feel totally back stabbed by Fisher. Jimbo is one of the few active coaches that has the proven experience to rebuild a program to national prominence. And no...this doesn't occur in 2-3 years.

But regardless....LSU has no chance at him. Tigers would be lucky to get Kiffin and that would ultimately be a mistake hire. I see LSU becoming what the Horns are today. Simply not much for proven HC talent available. Tigers can hope Scott W makes a magical choice. Likely a NFL coach....but that model has not worked well for others.

Good luck, Tigers. Not going to be a quick turnaround considering the damage done by Ed O. Reality has set in and been good to hear birds chirping. Welcome to the world in being bottom of the SEC West.

I think LSU should go after Pittman personally. But no way he leaves Arkansas for LSU.

Not sure he would even be on Bama’s long list……much less the short one.

He's a good coach but not worth what we would have to pay to get him to LSU.

It would be hilarious…. After all the crap you talked about Jimbo.

We’d know it was nothing but jealousy the whole time.

But I have nothing to worry about because LSU fans have been saying he's garage for 4 years.

Is "garage" good or bad?

It just seems like such an unrealistic option.

Seriously. I couldn’t imagine how he’d even be on LSU’s radar. We can do much much better. Even Orgeron turned out to be the better choice a few years ago, and now even he is gone.

For the money that aTm is paying Jimbo lsu would have to offer him at least 10 Mil A year for 10 years.

Is Lsu ready to give Jimbo a 10 year 100 Million dollar guaranteed contract. Plus his Assistant's pay as well.

And pay Eaux 17 mil to go Away I guess we will see plus what ever they owe his Assistant's which I'm sure is in the Neighborhood of 4 to 5 Mil

Why would any fan care about the contract?

I wish I could up vote this 10 times. Now that they're in a coaching search Jimbo's name is popping up like pimples on a 14 year old

Jimbo's name is coming up because he previously worked at LSU and because of his connections with Woodward.

The vast majority of LSU fans don't want anything to do with Fisher, I certainly don't.
