Arch is better than Reed. He’s not great, but Arch also has better weapons.

I don’t think Arch is terrible. He’s no where close to the hype but Texas can win big with him. That deep corner he threw in the first half was impressive.

Some people have started talking about Arch coming back for a final season in 2027. I don't know what to think about that. Texas has had worse quarterbacks, but at the same time I want to see what KJ Lacey and Dia Bell can do.

I actually feel sorry for Arch. The bar has been set so high for him that I doubt he can ever reach it. All because of his last name.

If his last name was Johnson, he'd still never have to buy a drink in Austin after going undefeated in his time on the 40 acres against A&M, OU and Arky. 
Marcel Reed might not be welcome back to B-CS after this year. Mateer and Livingstone can maybe go work on an oil rig somewhere and entertain the roughnecks after a hard day's labor at the local watering hole about that time they played college football at OU but that's really about the ceiling.

There are at least 8 quarterbacks in the SEC today you could have swapped with Arch and had better seasons than his.

Even if that is true, and I'm not suggesting it's not, the most hilarious part is that none of those QB's have the last name Mateer or Reed.

I don't know, I'm pretty confident at minimum Marcel Reed would be an upgrade over Arch if he was on your squad.
