I was blown away by how much louder ole miss' stadium was compared to dkr just through the TV.
We were really drunk
And too that point the three cotton bowl we have played big 12 schools OSU (twice) TTech they have ran out of alcohol on the ole miss side and had to go take what was left of the big 12 allotment and bring it to the rebels side ... We might need to enroll in AA

Personally, I feel that the SEC, despite the jokes and stuff, has much more respect between schools, and I get the impression that everyone wants SEC teams to win out of conference to preserve the integrity of the conference. I found myself wanting every Big12 team to lose non-conference games (esp. Texas and Baylor, being an Aggie from Waco). I could be wrong about this, just my personal observations.

Biggest difference? We seem to be running rough shod over the sec, we were a .500 team in the big 12.

Yeah no matter who the OOC is I typically pull the SEC team playing them except the GRINDERS but in BOWL games it's SEC All the way ... It's the time to tell the rest of the nation to sit down and STFU

The difference?
1. Every game is relevant. Even if you compare "doormats", Kentucky would beat Kansas by 50 and Auburn would destroy Baylor.
2. Television. 3 years ago, I lived in Ft. Leavenworth, KS (Big 12 country). Without a special sports package, I was able to see 5 of our 13 games on television. At Fort Bragg, I've been able to watch every single game this season without even needing to stream. Even 2 years ago, I could only get 5 of our 13 games here at Bragg (couldn't even get the ARKANSAS game on TV here).
3. Exposure. You win in the SEC and you're all they talk about. Just today on CFB Daily (ESPNU), the only Big 12 team they focused on was K-State. They talked about Alabama, us, Georgia, LSU, and Florida extensively.

4-2 isn't running roughshod (note: 1 word) over anybody. Glad to be in the SEC. Long way to go.

one of the biggest differences is the interaction between the fan bases. us, tu, tard, and baylor would spew hate towards one another, it wasnt trolling or being sarcastic, it was hate. i would always find myself rooting against them in their bowls and could care less about what that would do to the big12 perception. its not the same in the sec which is really nice

Honestly don't miss playing any of those schools. Not even Texas. SEC is run better, has much more passionate fan bases, more $, better quality televised games. The refs are terrible though.
I love the SEC more than I thought I would - which was already quite a bit.

Not only that, but the hate doesn't stop when the game is over. They extend that into the business world as well.

I agree with everything said on here by the Ags. Love the SEC! especially when we can work out that LSU game happening on Turkey day,

The absolute best part is no more tard, okie tard, tornado tard, front butt tard, bible tard, etc. Luckily we avoided mountain tard and purple tard altogether.

Aside from being false, I don't miss the old rivalries. We're getting to play bigger, better schools which means more excitement and more exposure. The fact that we have a weak team this year doesn't change that.
