I’m just amazed that any fan of a team with that “defense” can be talking excitedly about what they’re going to do to A&M or anyone else in the SEC.
In all honesty, OU would probably be 0-fer in the SEC this year unless they played Vandy. and to think tu is even WORSE!

Lol...riiiight! SEC isn’t a high school league like the Big 12. With Texas playing for runner up and overrated Blow U running up a record against the likes of TT, Baylor, TCU, Kansas, etc then getting blown out when they meet a real team.

I think that Jimbo recruits well, as does Lincoln. We are ranked very close to each other every year. An Ag poster stated that nobody does less with more than Lincoln, I simply stated that y’all have two losses with near identical recruiting. I’d say Jimbo does less with more.

I will give OU credit, Lincoln was a good hire and a smart way to keep that Stoops momentum going.
The problem is Lincoln will get a NFL offer eventually and then yall will have to actually spin the wheel on building up a new program for the first time in like two decades. The odds are never in the favor of programs doing that.
Meanwhile Jimbo isn't going anywhere soon, his coaching career ends at A&M one way or another.

11 SEC teams rank in the top 35 of the 2021 talent composite.
Big 12 has 3.
I think OU will do well in the SEC, but the week to week level of talent you face will not be the same.
TCU is probably the third most talented team in the Big 12 right? That would be the 11th most talented team in the SEC.
