Absolutely...nice round. Now you have my attention. I will be in Scotland in two weeks for The Open and will play 7 rounds during my trip on courses that has hosted The Open including the Old Course.

Thanks. And I’m jealous. That sounds like a great trip.

So never. I mean even if I agree with your goal, the logistics of pouring through the financial records of players to discover this is comical. I mean how will the NCAA ever know a booster paid them? You think the players and boosters will open their books up to allow the NCAA to just check things out?

They can write all the rules they want regarding this but there is no way to monitor this.

You can require the schools to report what they know, which will be nothing. No one will know anything.

It’s a big nothing burger.

But I totally agree, if it somehow were possible, that would certainly impact us. For sure. As well as everyone else, I am sure.

When they get caught or run out of NIL bribes. Don't see them running out of money, so I'll go with "when they get caught".

You think the players and boosters will open their books up to allow the IRS to just check things out?

So the NCAA will ask for tax records and the players will give that to them? Lol. No, they won’t.

They will be sued. That’s so illegal, it’s not even funny.

I will play Carnoustie on July 19th and I have already written down a 59.

I'm not shocked by the Bowens de-commit. I'm guessing he wants to find a place where he has a better than average chance at a starting position.

Lol. IRS doesn't enforce college football rules. The NCAA does. IRS doesn't give 2 shits about NCAA compliance as long as they get their money.

Federal tax records are confidential by law, and are none of the NCAA's business. NCAA has no right whatsoever to demand confidential federal tax records, and as noted above they will be sued if they try to. And they will lose.

Not a golfer but wouldn't 2 birdies , 2 bogies with the rest pars give you an even par score ?

How do you get 2 bogies, 2 birdies, the remaining shots pars, and still end up 2 over?

I meant the “rest” pars other than the double that I had mentioned. So, no, if you take the double, that’s two over.
