Aggie fans, explain something

Your school is the laughing stock of the entire country.
Your coach finished with a losing record and for two years fell way below preseason expectations.
Are you still willing to accept Jimbo although he’s been a total busted failure since entering the SEC ad the Texas 5&7 coach!
I think LSU overlooking 5&7 for Georgia may be the best thing that happens to keep Jimbo locked in at T5&7 for many years to come.
Please explain why you’re willing to accept less than mediocrity in what most consider total failure.

Wow, two threads about “not a rival” team in 15 minutes. Somebody is still salty on a Tuesday.
But just to be nice and respond to the actual thread: let me be as plain as I possibly can. Not one aggie fan is happy with going 5-7 in the 5th year of our coach. Not one. Beating LSU does nothing to take any heat off of Jimbo, he wasn’t getting fired at 4-8 either.
The only reason you see happy Aggies this week is we are enjoying making fun of LSU, that’s it. Once everything settles back down, we will be very interested to see what changes are made in the program over the off-season. Until then, we will enjoy poking fun of the tigers since some of y’all seem to be taking the loss extra hard.

The entire country doesn't care about college football, and a LOT of fanbases would still trade rosters, alumni support, stadium, gameday atmosphere, etc. with a&m.
We had an awful year.
We are stuck with Jimbo, and it sounds like he'll be making changes and moving to more of a CEO role. Will it work? Who knows.
Acceptance of a football program is easy. Accepting that you need the attention of random strangers on the internet is MUCH more difficult.
