Is it possible that our 1st team offensive line just didn't want to risk getting injured with 3 weeks out until Va Tech game? I wouldn't think our offensive linemen would treat this like its an actual game & they need to play lights out.

Also gonna steal LF.

Chance of LSU stealing Yeldon > Bama stealing LF.

If AJ had all day and the offense had big numbers he'd be on here lamenting that we have no D...

It's always a mixed bag when you are playing yourselves. Saban was happy with the starters and I will take his word over anyone elses.

You had what was probably the best line Bama has ever had last year. There will be some fall off.

You think Nick Saban would actually let his starting offensive line put half-arse effort towards a scrimmage?

LSU and some team we'd never expect (but not A&M).

If we beat Alabama the Rant might need to take a road trip to Louisville and put out a search party for me.

It's not the end for the Tide. If Alabama loses 2 games
they'll probably make it to a BCS bowl. As a Bama fan,
I'm just going to enjoy this season. Keep on keeping on.
If I had to guess, it's LSU's turn to win anyway.

If Kentucky beat Alabama, I would probably be in a permanent state of petrification.

Lmao

Some guy had 7 sacks ( or sacks & tackles behind the line of scrimmage ) last year in a scrimmage.

We don't keep a balance of running and passing in these scrimmages , we pass 70 to 75 percent of the time.

That is because we want to work on 3 things most of all pass timing, pass blocking and D.B. recognition.

Belive me, when we run the ball for 6.6 yards a clip, we will not have a problem blocking.

This. I appreciate the info from the OP and it's cool that you get a chance to see the scrimmages, but I have to agree SEC Crazy. It's very easy for defensive players to get pressure when they have a good idea of what's coming. They simply can just pin their ears backs and rush the QB. I'm not concerned at all. The projected starters for Alabama's offensive line are all juniors and seniors I think. They've all had some playing time and they all have been in the system for at least two years.

We would just have to steal the lime light from LSU once again and have a better version of "Bluegrass Miracle"

I heard our third string quarterback is better than Tom Brady right now, and our defense would shut out the Green Bay Packers.

And I know it's true, because practice reports are GOLDEN.

Guys, the D is suppose to be ahead of the O at this time of fall practice.
VT will answer all questions as to Nick Sabans coaching ability.

May have to wait a couple of weeks extra. VT is a mess right now it seems.

Are you the guy that predicted AU would be much improved and win up to ten games last year?

I work with a huge VT fan/alum. He doesn't even want to talk football at all

My guess is Saban puts 40 up on them and they'll get 14

Well, considering you came out of the woodworks last year to say the same exact crap, in a thread that was devoted to the Bama scrimmage, I'd say something about the scenario has your jimmies rustled.

Bama won it all last year after your doom and gloom scrimmage thread
