Like I said previously, my gut tells me they move it to Monday ala what LSU did with Tennessee that one year..

Just messing with you, the game needs to be moved to BR.

You realize everything that goes into putting on a football game? It isn't magic. Any longer delay and the game is likely cancelled. The NCAA is not going to make LSU fly into Florida.
Or play it Sunday or Monday, which seems to be the popular decision around UF if something has to be done.

What's a good Florida board? Can't wait to see the melt if this does actually get moved to BR

Makes sense. Fly INTO the path of hurricane.

If that doesn't work then go find a high school football stadium in Alabama. Have NO fans there, just emergency medical personnel, a few media personnel, and the announcers (and radio announcers)
This. Just play it. That's really all that matters. The rest is just stuff people have to deal with. For all I know I may be in St Lucie County next week packing up the remains of my elderly mother's paper-mache-looking home and driving her to Louisiana. Who knows what could happen and to how many tens of thousands of people. The game is my last worry. Just play it at a HS stadium in Tampa or Ocala or wherever you can and screw all the angst. WGAF if UF loses money or a home game. That's small potatoes.

We all find out at 5 pm.
Multiple UF beat writers are saying that UF thinks the game will not move location but will change time.

agree with another post, "LSU shouldn't have to fly into Gainesville in hurricane winds but it's OK for Florida to fly out of Gainesville in hurricane winds?"
Where will LSU stay if they are stranded? A hotel? Those aren't ever needed with natural disasters

Goddamn ridiculous that we have to explain this.
Also in your mind does it make sense to fly into a hurricane or away from one?

No one knows the damage that will be done to the area. If workers will be available. If there will be electricity. It's not just a rain storm.
