There you have it. LSU fans will downvote the hell out of this because the truth hurts you all.

I mean, the truth makes Florida look bad so I see why you wouldn't bring it up in your post.

1998 at Syracuse. Down 33-31, 4th and 7, from our own 35 with a little over a minute remaining. Tee Martin's pass to Cedrick Wilson was broken up by Will Allen, two closest officials waved incomplete, back judge threw a flag for pass interference. Season turned out pretty well.

LSU vs A&M non offside call in 2014 when A&M was trying to drive down to win the game. LSU was clearly offsides and A&M throws a deep ball that gets intercepted. Refs didn't throw the flag and LSU was able to kneel on the ball.

Oh easy one. 2006 LSU vs Auburn!!!

Seconds left and LSU is driving down the field. Tensions high and it looked like they were set to score a late game winning TD. They were down 7-3.

LSU gets down inside the 20 and WHAM! Illegal formation called on LSU. Puts them back to the 24 yardline and the rest is history. Incomplete pass and a short pass to close out the game a few yards from the goal line. I think the formation was borderline OK but the refs were just too picky that day. We were lucky.

Eric Reid's interception in 2011

I've watched this play hundreds of times. It could have gone either way depending on which angle you view it from. But it was, in my estimation, the right call because Reid ultimately possessed the ball when the play was over. There is no way Michael Williams, at 270 lbs, should've let 200 lb Eric Reid take that ball away. No fricking way that should've happened. Reid just wanted it more.

2007 vs Auburn. Last miraculous DRIVE by the Tigers. Near midfield, LSU needed 2 yards to convert a first down. Richard Murphy carried the ball for one yard, and was stopped cold, but crawled ON THE GROUND for the final yard. Somehow the official awarded the Tigers a first, which salvaged the drive, and the game for LSU (trailing 23-24 at the time).

I appreciate this post. I was at the game and everyone in the stadium knew it was an offsides "free play." Any auburn fan that doesn't recall the horse collar of all horse collars on JFF is also a liar/dumbass

2005 Gators vs. Vandy. Earl Bennett gets called for excessive celebration after a TD pass from Jay Cutler late in the 4th quarter, preventing Vandy from going for two to win the game in regulation. It was a bad call. Florida ends up winning in double OT.

There was a horrible personal foul call against Alabama in OT vs LSU. Took us from inside the 3 yardline after a huge play, to outside the 15. Bama players decided they weren't going to be beat by no damn refs, and went in for a touchdown a couple plays later to seal the victory. It was beautiful.

It was a horrible call. I mean the refs were trying their damndest to make sure LSU won that game.

If someone doesn't mention the Patrick Peterson interception he will come on here and post it. Still post about it to this day on his Twitter.

This is an interesting topic. It's hard to remember these things, unlike the bad calls that go AGAINST you, which linger forever.

I can think of two involving A&M, and they weren't necessarily "bad" calls, just questionable.

In 1986, A&M was playing the last pre-death penalty SMU at Texas Stadium in a see saw affair. A&M had the lead late in the 4th, but SMU forced a punt from deep in A&M territory. However, the SMU band was flagged for playing while A&M was lined up to snap the ball. This was the first year after the rule was changed to prevent bands from doing this, and SMU's band had been known to play almost continuously at times. They may have been warned before this play, but the first time the fans knew about it was when the official made the announcement. I thought that old crook Bobby Collins was going to have a stroke. Aggies kept the ball and ran out the clock.

In 1989, A&M was playing Baylor at Waco, with Baylor trying to hang on to a slim lead in the 4th quarter. Once again, the play involves a punt--Baylor was penalized for a block in the back by their punt protection unit. I never did see where that happened on the replay, and it didn't seem like a big deal--until A&M blocked the kick on the redo, and scored the winning TD.

2006 AU LSU. Prechae Rodriguez catches a slant for a first down and tries to give himself up but doesn't make it to the ground somehow, gets drilled and fumbles. In real time you couldn't even tell ge fumbled but CBS caught it and it wasn't reviewed. One of 2 or 3 calls that went our way.

That said the next year in BR, Richard Murphy gets upended on a great play by our defense, two yards short of the marker but he crawls on the ground and is given a great spot. Should have been 4th and 2 for LSU in a must convert situation. Instead, a couple plays later game is over.

Patrick Peterson interception in 2009 is the main one that comes to mind.
