unlike Miami, the gaytors refuse to spend on a proven portal QB and would rather try to bargain bin their way to a Gasparilla bowl every year

In fairness, UGA’s defense was on fire yesterday. They must have gotten their rear ends chapped big after that performance against Auburn

The Cawk is 5'3" short and couldn't even see above the belly buttons of the Florida linemen, much less complete a pass.

I bet you wouldn't call Sumrall a cuck to his face.

Look where GaTech is this year. Last year, good by Ga Tech's standards, was a fluke. But that is how Florida and Sumrall decided to raid for their first year rebuild in Gainesville.

Beyond Silverfield, Auburn and Florida made somewhat risky hires in Golesh and Sumrall, although Sumrall may have a decent tenure.

You can only hide an average, marginal or poor QB like Philo for so long.

That interception in real time was glorious.

Kid needs an athletic department tutor on the field with him.

When Jones was the QB didn't we outscore them? Thought so but not sure.

You have a QB that went on the road and beat Texas the week prior and looked good doing it. I'm sorry, he deserved the shot at starting this game

Nah

As a coach you have to go with the guy you think gives you the best chance of winning.

The truth is that there probably isn’t an answer in the QB room.

He definitely just needs more time. And Sumrall should start him again vs. Oklahoma

No.

We still outscored Gators 17-8 after the change…

Why didn't UF go with the hot hand in Jones Jr.? I'm sure it's been talked about but I haven't followed.

They did in the 2nd quarter.

He went 18 of 25 for 172 yards, 1 INT and a 62.9 QBR.

Stockton for the record only went 13 of 23 for 101 yards and a 24.1 QBR.

But Georgia ran for over 200 years, while Florida ran for 54 on 28 carries. 5.2 yards per carrying vs 1.9. Florida's best RB averaged 2.2 per carry.

The 4 turnovers Florida had and Georgia limiting possessions at the same time with a running game pretty much smothered Florida.

Yeah Jones didn't play much better, that forced throw goalline INT on 2nd down was almost as bad as Philo's retarded underhand bullshite

That INT was a good defensive playcall.
The flat defender was able to sag back to defend the deep zone after the safety fired down to take the RB into the flat.

Jones was baited into the throw.
Sometimes, you tip your cap to the defense. They are on scholarships too.

Nothing as bad as the underhanded hail mary.
