That is the only way they will win the SEC West. They play too soft with their current style of play.

A&M can get their upset wins and also beat teams with a high school level secondary (Auburn last season), but not going to win the division.

I'd rather Aggy change nothing at all.

Agree

Sumlin is not the guy for wins on the football field

But all A&M cares about these days is attendance, the SEC doing well in non conference games, and outrecruiting Texas. As long as those 3 things are being accomplished Sumlin will be their guy.

No A&M coach in the last 75 years has won more national titles than Sumlin.

Nah, we got what we needed. A good DC who will bring in good talent. If we had this two years ago we would likely have had at least one NC.

But they have won conference titles

Sumlin hasn't even been able to do that anywhere

In my opinion, he would improve with the implementation of some "Core Values". That's what we've really been missing.

10 points scored against LSU in 2013

The offense was the problem that day, not the defense

21 points scored against LA Mornoe last year, 17 against LSU, 20 against Ole Miss, and 0 against Alabama

Offense was the problem those days

Is the Big 12 that uninteresting that you need to post on an sec board?

Oh, so THAT'S where you moved that goalpost. I was wondering where it would end up.

I was specifically referring to 2012, but 2013 we still had an elite offense. That day at TS the field was flooded.

with a top 10 d, I don't see how there'd be much argument against us winning it all in 2012.

So your expecting Chavis to produce a top 10 defense before he retires? Honest question.

If we had a top 3 offense and a top 3 defense that year, we would have won it.

If ifs were fifths, we'd all be drunk.
