A&M-LSU 2014 on Thanksgiving DayIt's pathetic that the SEC and our AD bent over to these demands for a Thanksgiving day game.

This x 1000.

If I recall correctly, Alleva sited A&M's "tradition" of playing on Thanksgiving as the reason why LSU agreed. WTF?? We have a tradition of night football games at Tiger Stadium that nobody seems to give a flip about except for us. Why should LSU care about respecting any of A&M's lame traditions? Alleva really crapped the bed on this one. The least he could've done was get the game moved back to Saturday night on the years that the game is played in Baton Rouge; but we can't do that because Lord Saban refuses to play the Iron Bowl on Friday.

No. LSU has a reputation to uphold. No rivalries.

When LSU gets paid $10 million dollars a year from the SEC Network in five years then it will all make sense.

I'd prefer Ole Miss on Halloween night.

Knowing that it annoys them makes me even more supportive of this move.

Because Tradition Matters. We all want Tiger Rag back, ok?

I honestly don't understand this "tradition" of yours anyway. Do you hate your families and NFL football so much that you absolutely HAVE to have a game on Thanksgiving?

Why even ask?

Is it not clear that your understanding or acceptance of the order is irrelevant?

Just do as you're told.

Texas A&M ends next year with 3 Tigers in a row.

Again, whether you care or not is irrelevant.

TAMU is a teller. LSU is a doer.

By asking questions you're trying to enter a realm where you don't belong. Just continue doing.

Kind of true.

Alabama/UT, Auburn/UGA say we're keeping cross division rivals...lsu stuck with UF.

A&M makes them play on Thanksgiving.

Sack up lsu.

Maybe there was no cave in to A&M - perhaps it was thought as a good move to have this game on TDAY for Ratings. Everybody watches the TDAY games.

If it takes some of the wind out of the Texas TCU extravagancy - so be it.

There is an intense level of retardation going on with 90% of the A&M posters on the Rant.

I'm not sure how this came about, but it's incredibly troubling.

We're not playing you queers on Thanksgiving ever again. Of course, that's assuming we do grant you the privilege of playing us ever again on a regular basis.
