TV ratings when LSU is involved are pretty bad. Heard this was the main reason it was moved to Saturday.

No, those game ratings were okay. It's overall as a draw for televised games. CBS has LSU as the #27th ranked college team for drawing viewers.
Unless LSU is playing Bama, Florida, Georgia, A&M, etc... the ratings are in the toilet. Other teams are carrying the ratings as shown in the CBS rankings. Pretty obvious when Cotton Bowl selected A&M over LSU to play OU. TV ratings were through the roof.
I don't mean anything bad by it, it is just what the CBS rankings show. Half the time LSU fans can't stay past the end of the 3rd cause they can barely stomach watching. It's okay.
