Dude shut up. Fisher was defusing the entire situation. Sure he pushed Krags and pulled Craig away. Separating them both. In all of this, the first PUNCH was actually thrown by Faulk. Krags lying to the media that he got nailed in the chest and will seek medical expenses from A&M is a joke and embarassing to LSU. The real winner is the photographer who captured a great pic

It was a push to break up 2 grown men yelling at each other who should have either shook hands or gone to the locker room. Not a punch.

Fisher also got physical with Craig by pulling him away from the fight. He then pushed Krags away from the fight. It was a physical scene not accurately described by Krags. He should have kept his mouth shut like Fisher and not done a phone interview and have waited for the video to play out. Now he looks like an idiot and Fisher the unsung hero in all of the chaos

15 videos and pictures later, still no punch to Kragthorpe's chest :violin:

that's clearly him and Faulk trying to punch each other.

The hell he didn't. Did he put his hands on the Kragthorpe? Then yeah, he did.

He also put his hands on Craig, because he was trying to break up the altercation. Are you mad at Fisher for touching Craig?
quote:

So Jimbo straight up lied to the media.

Jimbo said, "No, I didn't... I had no idea."
As in he didn't see the fight and had no idea that it was going on.

Krags literally said Cole "maybe tried to hit him in the head" and that he got "nailed in the chest."

after watching the video, Cole Fisher, although he did push Kragthorpe away, was only trying to defuse the situation and is the least culpable person involved.

Craig is a douche.

Kragthorpe approached an already defused situation. He got pushed away - more defusing by Cole. Then he exaggerated the story, said he was "punched" and "nailed" "out of nowhere" and that Cole "maybe tried to hit him in the head." Then said he may get A&M to pay for his medical bills. Dumb all around. kragthorpe's initial statement

Kevin Faulk probably misinterpreted the situation b/t Krags and Fisher/Craig, and I like how he was defending his own, so I'm not that pissed at him
6. Krags and several media outlets exaggerate the initial "physical contact"
If anything I think Cole Fisher is the least at fault here.

You have Craig trashily running to the LSU sideline and talking shite. He's #1. Way down the totem pole is Krags who got pissed and ran over to them. Then further down you have Fisher defusing the situation and pulling Craig away, then pushing Krags away when Krags ran over to them.

Faulk seemed to be defending Krags and assuming that Fisher was the bad guy when it was really Craig. Faulk punches Fisher, who then fights back because he feels like he did nothing wrong other than try to defuse everything
quote:

ust finish the sentence. For example, "went after Craig to give him a piece of this mind.

Then Krags should have said "I was pushed in the chest by an A&M guy after I went after Craig to give him a piece of my mind." He didn't. He said he got punched in the chest and nailed out of nowhere. And also alluded to having A&M pay for any medical bills associated with the sucker punch to the chest because he has a disability
quote:

He was. nobody was getting physical until that. Just a lot of jawing.

as far as I can see, initially no one was getting physical. also, no one was nailed out of nowhere as Krags stated
I mean, OP's use of the words "went after" and "charges the guy from behind" are way more accurate than LSU's initial story...

Krags is literally the only figure in LSU colors running in the entire video. Running up to Fisher/Craig

or is running too strong of a word? Is "jogging at a high rate of speed while everyone else is walking" better?
quote:

IMO, this video looks like what happened after the altercation, not the fight itself.

This is the fight. After the push/shove by the bright red shirt, you see white shirt (faulk) come in and the crowd converges. you also see all of the purple shirts looking inwards and forming a circle. That's when the infamous picture is taken.
quote:

The only thing misleading was that we thought the Fisher kid started things and it was really that piece of trash D. Craig.

No, Krags said from the beginning that Craig started the whole thing. What's misleading is that Krags said he was "punched" and "nailed" "out of nowhere."
quote:

How so? What was the "initial story"?

quote:

"Out of nowhere, I got nailed," Kragthorpe said in a phone interview while he drove back home from the game Sunday afternoon.

quote:

"And that's when I got hit. I mean, I got nailed.

story (TD)
quote:

possibly smokes Krag in the chest

not true. it's a push and probably something verbal
quote:

Faulk defends the disabled.

this is true and understandable IMO
quote:

You can't tell shite from that video.

You can't see the fine details, but you can see that the initial story by LSU was misleading
quote:

There is still no reason to punch Kragthorpe...

After Krags runs across the screen to confront Craig, there was a push, not a "punch to the chest out of nowhere" as initially described by the local media
