I'm kinda surprised by the Aggie reaction. This neurosis is eye opening. And frankly it comes off as chickenshit. Texas won't have the sway in the SEC they did in the Big 12. Aggies will be on level playing field.
If the aggies are the one to stop this out of fear? Maybe it's time for them to go. You're in Texas for god's sake. Imagine sharing Alabama with Auburn.
These two will be by far the most valuable additions since the early 90s expansion.

I think they are just sad we won't be giving them as much attention. With Alabama and Auburn leaving to the East (and no Florida cross game), they have no familiar faces to play with and are stuck in a division of former Big 8 and Big 12 members.
