Cincy QB Ben Bryant completed just as many passes against Miami Ohio in a 38-17 win so it wasn't being down in a close game that caused them to throw so much.
South Carolina features Spencer Rattler so they are going to throw a lot no matter what. He threw just two less passes (37 to 39) against Georgia State in a 35-14 win.
Missouri State was leading y'all until roughly 10 minutes left in the 4th and is coached by Bobby Petrino. His offenses also throw a lot.
All three threw for 325 or more yards.

Arkansas fans can dish it, but they can’t take it. It’s not fun to engage with them with friendly banter bc they seriously get mad and rage out. Takes all the fun out of this week for me.

This game is going to be awesome honestly. Arkansas can run the ball with anyone and A&M is going to sell out to stop it. A&M can’t pass but Arkansas has one of the worst secondaries in the country. Something has to give. Both teams have good players. This should be a hell of a game.

Not sure why A&M is the betting favorite. Arkansas is a running team, which is our weakness defensively. Arkansas has a bad pass defense, as far as I can tell we don't pass. Neither team is great, but Arkansas has the style to win imo. Bet the under, it will be a hard fought defensive game. Like all our games.

This is weird. OP posts a screenshot of an Aggie was says that the Arkansas defense is pretty weak (they have one of the worst pass defenses in college football) and says Pittman isn’t Saban or Smart.

But, it kind of will. I’m not saying the secondary will be good but it’s 100% going to make it a lot better. He’s our best NB and not having him has fricked a lot of things up for us. Although Catalon is obviously the biggest blow.
Cincinnati was not a good game by our secondary, but we had held SC to I think 180 passing yards going into the 4th and we were up a decent amount with our offense able to run at will on them and we started playing some soft coverages/playing lackadaisical. Not an excuse but it explains part of it.
Missouri State was bad but it was Bobby with FBS transfers throughout his offense combined with early turnovers from us giving them confidence.
All I’m saying is I think we’ll be an average to below average secondary by the end of the year, assuming no more season ending injuries.

Well we have an elite pass rush and a good run defense so I’m not sure I would agree with that
