They would have to throw everyone in jail if they investigate NIL at all the P5 Schools. It is just an acceptable behavior by the NCAA now.

I laughed when I saw the source was Tim Shepard. Even the most ardent anti-A&M folks kind of groaned seeing him and his "sources" as the backing for this.

I'm getting the same feeling as I had back in the days when SMU, the little Church School in Dallas, signed Dickerson & James, when everybody else in the country wanted them.
When a team with CFP aspirations 8&4's and Gator Bowls the season, and then smokes everybody else in the recruiting wars, ummm, shame on you.
The NIL deals for condoms and sunflower seeds must be more lucrative then I thought.

Most were laughing at the ridiculously low payout, 4 and 5*'s get more each than they were wanting to pay the whole position group. The guise of creating some kind of charity organization for it is also pretty rich, wonder where they could have gotten that idea

This is not a true statement. A&M has 4 5 star players committed. A&M signed 6 5 star players between 2019-2021
