Yes. A&M needs that extra game, and Ole Miss would've destroyed that A&M secondary like Bama did.

The SEC needs to make an OOC exception and A&M needs to get on the horn now and attempt to find a replacement.

Don't think Sankey will schedule any non-SEC teams but if there's another SEC team that loses their game, maybe.
Ole Miss did a good job of managing COVID this year but when your opponents keep canceling and you get screwed by CBS, one of the three surprise BYE weeks was going to eventually mess them up.

SMU may be looking for a game. I doubt they would move the needle much for the committee but 10 games vs 6 when comparing to Ohio State still looks better than 9.
I dunno.... Maybe we could get Texas to cancel their game vs Kansas? We could pitch it as the game that ensures Herman is fired if we win.

Nobody needs a bye week against LSU. LSU is basically a bye week unto itself.

Just cancel Ole Miss- LSU and Texas A&M -Tennessee and play it that day. Ole Miss -Texas A&M is a much more important game.
