More of a diversion tactic to blame them for 911 when in reality it was to settle beef between Saddam and the Bush family. It's much more about Afghanistan and the poppy seed.

don't believe it's the liberals that keep making stupid arse threads about this topic. Its always some conservative fricktard with some ignorant "don't disrespect the military" crap.

You know why this is even being discussed?Because you
guys inject politics into EVERYTHING.Why did ESPN become nothing more than the sports dept of MSNBC?

Sports used to be an escape for this garbage but your side had to go ahead politicize this part of the culture.

Do you not realize how easy it is to avoid all of this? If people weren't on here bitching about someone kneeling during the anthem, I wouldn't know it was happening.

We "fight" for other countries because it is strictly business. These are nothing but business relationships for money and resources behind the scenes. There is ALWAYS a method to the madness of the global banking system that controls everything.

You know why they try to ram down our throats that "Russia is the enemy?" Because RUSSIA does NOT WANT a Central Bank and the control it brings nor are they on board with a NWO.

The NWO and their media. ESPN is owned by NWO sponsored Disney Corp. Disney even has subliminal messages in kids' films.

It's ALL so SICK!

These players saying that their "intent" isn't to "disrespect the flag or veterans" is akin to saying that a driver who runs a red light didn't "intend" to t-bone the other car that he ran into at full speed.

Both are probably true, but in both situations "intent" has nothing to do with the actual results.

Where exactly are Republicans attempting to stop free speech and protesting at campuses where others with different opinions are speaking???

Old arse rich white men???Not sure what you consider
rich but more millionaires supported Hillary over Trump

By a pretty good margin

Neo Nazis

They barely exist but if you want to think there's a boogie man around every street corner by my guesr.

You really asked this question when this ENTIRE issue
would be a moot point if he hadn't taken a knee the 1st place???,

So are you saying ESPN only started getting political
because of the reaction to Colin Kaepernick?

Good God you really want me to list all the shows and personalities that we've had to put up with the last 10 years or so?

It's also a moot point if you turn the game on at kickoff.

Well this devolved quickly.

Can't understand how any American can't see we must respect the right to peaceful protest. It's completely ok to counter protest peacefully. Stop watching, create flag celebrations, etc...I have the ability, as Saban suggested, to disagree with someone without demonizing them. The original protest is part of the fabric that makes this country great.

My family is filled with veterans and an individual currently serving. Within my family I have members upset about choosing the anthem as a the platform for protest and others who believe they served not for a symbol like the flag, but to protect the liberties (like the right to kneel in protest) of each American including those with whom we disagree. Again kudos to Saban for pointing out the hypocrisy that exists on both sides of this debate.

Please,I don't need lessons about the right of assembly
and free speech

He can protest ALL he wants on his own time and without the uniform. We all have codes of conduct we have to abide while we represent our particular employer and organization.Funny how the NFL fined and banned these
statements Kinda Hypocritcal

Don't you think?It was a peaceful statement wasn't it?

Didn't the owners respond in an appropriate manner when they colluded to not sign him this year. It was their right. He clearly has the physical talent to be a back up in the NFL.

I don't support him, but as a former member of the 82nd Airborne Rangers told me. "I served so he could kneel if he believes he should kneel." Personally, I disagree with him but as an American I respect his right to peaceful protest. His cost him a job worth 2 million a year.

How did the right to protest become part of the debate? Is anyone calling for their arrest?

everyone has the right to free speech, but they should understand there are consequences.

personally i think the nfl sucks, so my viewing habits haven't been altered by this issue.
