Did not read this thread, but will say there are some State fans out there are totally delusional.
I once encountered one, who in all sincerity, stated that MSU had beaten LSU 18 straight times in football back in the '40s and '50s. He told me his Daddy had told him that and his Daddy would never have made something up.
State baseball is not in the same freaking time zone with LSU.

It's just like Georgia will have a better program in football. I saw Ron Polk was mentioned. Ask Polk about his career and he will say State. He still is involved at State just Bertman is at LSU

People say dumb things!!! You knew!!! The fact that you bring up baseball which your football team plays in biggest game in the past 30 or so years is amusing to me. Baseball is a month away and I'm excited about it. Should be a great year

Maybe so, but he's a miracle worker with what he accomplished last year with that roster and lack of depth. His recruiting is already paying off and there should be some battles coming. If only MS would bring in the lottery so we can level the playing field with limited baseball scholarships.
