This is very odd coming front an Auburn fan

The NCAA will miss your fruit cake at the 2017 meetings in Honolulu

So, you're sympathetic towards OM's situation, it sounds like. ?

Will do.

But first - are you defending OM? Just curious.

I'm plenty old enough - unfortunately - to know what has happened in the past with regards to NCAA sanctions (SEC/ACC/PAC and otherwise).

...and ancient. LSU's recent troubles are worse than Auburn and to be fair Tulane never blows the whistle on you guys so you managed to maintain the appearance of being clean longer than most.

I hope you enjoyed typing that long arse post, because you're the only mother fricker who will read it.
You, and all the other posters on the board read it, and unfortunately for Ole Miss it's correct. Y'all better tighten up your seat belts, boys because you're about to go on a long, hard ride...been there, done that.

Tunsil and Fluker - what's the difference?

One story was completely ignored by the NCAA.

One thing is for sure, regardless of the punishment, Ole Mess will no longer be reeling in top 10 classes.

how do you know they ignored it. The NCAA does not come out in the wall street journal or the USA today and say what and what they are not looking at.

Really? Fluker took benefits from a go-between for an agent, and Tunsil took money from an asst. athletic director at Ole Miss...now what's the difference?

I talked to an OM fan yesterday, and he seems to think the NCAA will settle somewhere LESS than the self-imposed scholarships graciously offered by the school. He really thinks the NCAA will come back and say that was too much. WTF?

I really don't think the full magnitude of this has sunk in yet. This melt will be epic.
