Kick 6. That was a sudden shock ending.

74-72 was just bad football.

The correct answer is the Camback in 2010.

74-72 was not an exciting game it was an embarrassing shite show and only made possible by incompetent officiating.

hey bitch, his knee was down, the line was in the wrong place, and there was clearly a second on the clock. These are all objective facts, which have even been confirmed by the Advocate.

Unsure of all time as the first or one of the early SEC Championship games between Alabama and Florida was exciting

Between the two listed I have to go with the A&M victory in overtime

kick 6 actually meant something in the long run.

74-72 is just 2 fanbases with smelly traditions -- jizz jar and corn dogs. disgusting.

That game was a running joke by the time it ended. LSU won it three times in regulation before OT even started.

This is pathetic.

Getting upset about people complaining about officiating in a game that was a colossal shite show to the end is also pretty pathetic...

Kick 6 was an infinitely better game. 74-72 was intriguing to see who was either going to will themselves to victory or shite their pants in the process... but it wasn't good football.

Who is getting "upset"?

Many sources, including the NOLA Advocate dispelled all the claims of poor officiating.

It's pathetic to say you really won the game when you lost.

Only a few LSU fans have the internal strength to admit the truth. It's easy for the weak-willed and weak-minded to blame the officials, even when the things they gripe about (the knee, the line, the second) have been showed time and again to have been objectively correct calls.

(The fumble, though, was not objectively the right call. It was more subjective, and could have been called either way. )

Bottom line was the winner got within three games of Bama in the SECW. It was like watching the Nationals and Phillies going extra innings the last game of the season last year. Good BB but means nothing.

1985 Iron Bowl
Bama won on 52 yard FG with no time left.
Frank Broyles even said he'd never seen a more exciting 4th Qtr.

I was there, it was a great game. But it meant nothing except some bragging rights. Both teams had three or more loses after the game.

Exciting game? 74-72, and it isnt close. There were tons of potential game-winning or game-saving games

Exciting finish? Kick 6. It had national title implications and a completely improbable ending. It was a great game, but the game is remembered for 1 play. The 74-72 game has 5 or 6

Your reply came immediately after this...

That's about as close to "mad online" as someone can get when you're talking to fans of schools who had nothing to do with the game. IIRC there were a couple of "subjective" PI calls granted at the end of the game and in OT that certainly favored aTm... I don't personally care about the outcome, but it's not exactly "edgy" to say that aTm benefitted from officiating in the game... And I'm someone who gave LSU fans shite for bitching about it in the moment... I don't think that the "only reason aTm won was the officials" or anything... but you benefitted from what seemed like more close calls going your way, at least late in the game when they have more weight. I also was watching as a passive observer, so who knows if I'd have felt different as a fan of either program?
