Easily Kick 6. It had National Title implications on the line. I would say the 07 Florida LSU game, the 2012 SEC championship were also more exciting than 74-72. Im sure they had other great ones but this is all I can remember over the past 15 years.

The Kick 6 was one of the greatest plays of all time in a rivalry game everyone tunes in for when it's competitive.

The 74-72 game meant nothing. A&M still finished 3 games behind Bama in the West even after that win.

Kick 6 was a more amazing ending, in a more consequential game.

74-72 was unparalleled as far as how long it went on, with game extending play after game extending play.

I'm biased, but I think 74-72 was the better game.

Do you mean unparalleled in how many hours it took for the game to be played? Because Arkansas was in the first two of four 7OT games ever played. I think Buffalo and some other G5 was in the third.

That game was a running joke by the time it ended. LSU won it three times in regulation before OT even started.

Against the #1 and #4 teams in the country. What was Lsu and A&M raked at the time?

Kick 6 had explosive reprocussions and it was an exclamation point on Auburn’s charmed season. This was also the season of the miraculous catch against Georgia.

74-72 was entertaining for 7 OTs. I personally had more enjoyment from 74-72 but I had no dog in the fight for Kick 6.

Well, since your post asks most exciting GAME ... it’s gotta be 74-72.

BUT

If we are talking most incredible, jaw dropping, mind blowing things to ever happen on a football field in the history of fricking ever?

Easily Kick 6.

Lol the only significance in 74-72 to the outside people is how long it was. It's not as if it was some great game both teams looked like complete shite from start to finish with zero at stake. Well maybe not to the Aggies. They seemed to be very impressed with finishing second in the West.

The kick 6 had one of the best 4th quarters ever. Back to back 4th down stops, a 99 yard td pass, a blocked fg to keep the game to 1 possession, a td scoring drive with with less than two minutes to tie the gam and of course the fg returned 109 yards with no time on the clock to win the West and eventual SECC with a birth to the bcscg. Oh and bama was going for the three peat.

Yeah. The kick 6. Easily
